The bulk of the material relates to his career playing golf and basketball at Texas Wesleyan College, 1947-1950, but there are items relating his graduation from Paschal High School in 1943 as well as the start of his career as a Golf pro at Z. Boaz Golf Course in Fort Worth.

The collection includes photos of the very beginning of construction moving through the other stages up to the construction of the ranges of shelving at the end. There are images of the Judge George W. Armstrong Library and pictures of the moving of the library collection from the Judge George W. Armstrong Library to the West Library as well.
